Battle Instructions:

The Battle mode allows two players to compete using the same quiz, either simultaneously or sequentially.

 

Here’s a breakdown of the game flow:

 

Phase 1: Game Setup (Home Player)

1. Selection: The home player initiates the match  selecting the game mode and the quiz to be used for the battle.

2. Game Start: Once the selections are made, the home player begins the turn. Time and answers are recorded.

3. Temporary Result Display: Upon finishing , the home player sees a screen with their partial results (score, remaining time, etc.). Important: This is a temporary result and won't be publicly displayed until the away player completes the turn. The home player must wait for the away to finish.

 

Phase 2: Away Player's Turn

1. Simultaneous/Sequential Play: The away player can start playing once the home player has selected the  game mode and quiz and begun its turn. The game is designed for simultaneous play without synchronization issues. However, if the away can't play at the same time, can play after the home player finishes.

2. Independent Recording: The game records the away’s time and answers separately from the home player.

3. Away’s Result Display: After completing the turn, the away player sees the partial results, same as the home player.

 

Phase 3: Waiting Screen and Final Results

1. Waiting Screen: After both players have finished, a waiting screen appears while the final results are processed. This screen indicates that scores and statistics are being calculated.

2. Final Results and Statistics Display: Once the data is processed, a screen displays the final results for both players. This screen includes:

   • Each player’s score.

   • Relevant statistics (e.g., accuracy percentage, average response time).

   • Potentially a winner indication (if applicable).
